Job Description:
A company is looking for a Nonprofit Assistant Controller I to
oversee financial operations for a portfolio of nonprofit
clients.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a liaison between clients and audit firms, overseeing audit
preparation and implementation of findings
Manage financial analysis and reporting, including budget reviews
and financial status updates for client leadership
Consult with client leadership on financial strategies, monitor
financial goals, and present results at Board meetings
Required Qualifications and Education
Bachelor's degree required
8+ years of accounting, financial reporting, and financial
management experience
3+ years of experience managing direct reports or project teams
Prior experience in a nonprofit organization is required
Experience working in a school or socially responsible organization
is required
