• Certification Details
• Valid RN License (State of Maine)
• Education Modules: Will be assigned by MMC Education Department for Day 1 Onboarding
  • Job Details
  • 48 Hours Strongly Preferred, 36 Acceptable
  • This is a float pool position. Candidate must be willing to float to multiple different units.
  • Candidate must have acute care hospital experience.
  • Candidate must be able to read and interpret their own telemetry.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 years' inpatient hospital experience preferred
    • 2 years' hospital experience
    • Must be able to read & interpret telemetry strips
    • At least 1 previous travel assignment preferred
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift: Day shift is 0700 - 1930
      • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 48/36
      • Weekend Hours: Varies (Travelers will be scheduled weekends, but the amount will fluctuate based on unit need)
      • Call Requirements: No
      • Float Requirements: Float Pool position, will float every shift
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Number of Beds: Varies based on unit floated to - smallest unit at MMC has 15 beds, largest has 40+ beds
        • Patient Ratios: Typically 1:4 on days (possibility of 1:5 when stretching) and 1:5 on nights (possibility of 1:6 when stretched)
        • Equipment: Abbott Plum Pumps
        • EMR: EPIC
        • Type of Patients on Unit: Varies based on unit floated to
        • Personality Fit: Flexibility is a must
          • Additional Details
          • This usually proves to be a challenge for the traveler, so having at least 1 travel assignment, or prior Float Pool experience will set the traveler up for success.
