Job Description:

An outpatient cancer center is seeking a radiation oncologist for locum tenens coverage.Springfield, Massachusetts is home to a 24/7 casino and entertainment complex for you to enjoy while off-duty! There are also all kinds of authentic Greek and BBQ food all around the city. On top of that, there are plenty of museums and parks to enjoy your time off as well.The position involves primarily outpatient work with minimal inpatient responsibilities, handling around 25 patients per day (PPD). The call schedule is 1:2, and the team consists of 2 other MDs, 1 APP, and a full support staff. The EMR systems used are Meditech and Mosaiq. Credentialing typically takes about 60 days. Board Certification in Radiation Oncology is required, along with a Massachusetts medical license.
