As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, performing skilled specimen collections, and being the face of our company. You will also have opportunities for continuous growth and development within the organization.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:00 am - 9:00 am and every other Weekend 5:00 am - 1:30 pmWork Location: Melrose, MABenefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off, and tuition reimbursement. Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only.Job Responsibilities:

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when neededRequired Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency or previous experience as a phlebotomist is required
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness testPreferred Qualifications:
    • Previous LabCorp experienceExpectations:
      • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
      • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
      • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
      • Comfortable working under minimal supervision
      • Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
