qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Salem, Massachusetts, 01970 Pay
Information $1,587 per week About The Position Job Title: ICU
Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive
Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating (Days, Evenings,
Nights, every other weekend) Hours Per Shift: 12-hour shifts, 36
hours per week Experience: 3 years of ICU RN experience; 2 years of
continuous MICU experience required License: Active RN License
Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Ability to read telemetry
strips Description: Rotating ICU Registered Nurse needed for a
20-bed Medical/Surgical ICU. Candidates must provide care for a
wide range of adult patients with diagnoses such as sepsis, GI
bleed, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, renal failure, DKA, and
cardiogenic shock. Attending physicians and residents are present
in the ICU 24 hours a day. Floating to Medical/Surgical Units is
required. Telemetry competency is necessary. Day positions are day
rotate, and may include shifts from 7 AM-7 PM, 11 AM-11 PM, or 7
PM-7 AM. Night shift does not rotate. The RN to patient ratio is
typically 1:2, or 1:1 for high acuity patients. The ICU uses the
