__**Job Description Summary**__

Assists Team Leader in daily operations, including profitability, expense control, and labor management. Leads and develops Team Members.

__**Job Responsibilities**__

* Develops and maintains store layout and product merchandising.
* Works with Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
* Assists Team Leader in sales and labor analysis.
* Demonstrates advanced product knowledge and stays aware of new products.
* Maintains good vendor relationships and submits required paperwork.
* Works with Team Leader to resolve team concerns.
* Functions as point person in absence of Team Leader.
* Sets and achieves high standards of retail execution.
* Fosters a positive team environment and models WFM vision and goals.
* Maintains awareness of customer flows and needs.
* Selects, trains, and develops Team Members.

__**Experience**__

* 18+ months retail Team Member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.

__**Physical Requirements**__

* Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
* Standing/walking 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day.
* Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
* Work requires bending, twisting, squatting and reaching.
* Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals and temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
* Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule and use tools and equipment.
