Our team built a highly scalable containerized gRPC microservices platform and micro-frontends web applications. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products built on modern technical stack. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies and passion for delivering exceptional products to end-users.Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status.Required Education, Experience, & Skills Responsibilities:

• Develop and Execute Test Plans:
  • Design, develop, and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Automation Testing:
    • Create and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Jest or Jasmine or Mocha or similar.
    • Perform functional, regression, Integration, and performance testing.
    • Bug Identification and Reporting:
      • Identify, document, and the track software defects using issues tracking tools like JIRA.
      • Work closely with the development team to reproduce and resolve issues.
      • Quality Assurance Processes:
        • Participate in requirement reviews to provide input on testability and quality risks.
        • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
        • Collaboration:
          • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers product managers and other team members.
          • Provide feedback and recommendations to improve product quality and user experience.
          • Continuous Improvement:
            • Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in software testing.
            • Suggest improvements to existing testing processes and tools.Must be able to obtain a Secret ClearancePreferred Education, Experience, & Skills Experience:
              • 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
              • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
              • Experience with both manual and automated testing.
              • Experience with Dockers, Kubernetes cluster, Helm charts, Ingress, and containers.
              • Technical skills:
                • Proficient with the test automation tools such as Selenium, WebDriver, Jest or Jasmine or Mocha or similar.
                • Familiarity with programming languages like Python JavaScript react next.js.
                • Experience with version control systems particularly GitLab.
                • Knowledge of CI/CD tools like GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins.
                • Understanding of web technologies
                • Understanding of GRPC and micro services
                • Soft skills:
                  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
                  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
                  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
                  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
                  • Adaptable and eager to learn new technologies.
                  • Preferred qualifications:
                    • Experience and testing microservices and distributed systems.
                    • Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or roadrunner
                    • Experience with agile/scrum methodologies.
                    • Certification in software testingPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $112420 - $191070Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
