This individual operates in accordance with environmental, health, safety, and cGMP guidelines.-- The Manufacturing Technician executes production activities under direct supervision for the Spray Drying of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients.The Boston-area facility is Catalent's global Center of Excellence for spray dry dispersion and Dry Powder Inhaler (DPI) capsule manufacture and packaging. The site features inhaled powder spray drying, as well as multiple commercial-scale lines for capsule filling and blister packaging. On-site spray dryers include best-in-class GEA Niro SD1, SD4 and SD7, the latter being the largest CGMP unit of its kind for DPI in North America.This is a full-time hourly position. The core hours are 6AM - 6PM The work schedule will be on a rotating 12-hour shift.-- Every other weekend will have work scheduled.-- Week one will be for 48 hours in 4 days.-- Week two will be for 36 hours over 3 days.-- Catalent is committed to a Patient First culture through excellence in quality and--compliance, and to the safety of every patient, consumer, and Catalent employee.--The Role

• Performs Clean-In-Place, Clean-Out-of-Place, and equipment decontamination as required;
• Operates and monitors manufacturing equipment for the production of clinical and commercial pharmaceutical products;
• Assists in the execution of routine and complex production processes;
• Completes GMP documentation in legible and organized fashion;
• Receives and distributes supplies in the manufacturing area;
• Other duties may be assigned;
• All other duties as assigned;The Candidate
  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required. Biotechnology Certificate or AS highly desired;
  • Prior work history 1+ years, preferably in a Manufacturing Environment;
  • Critical understanding of the importance of documentation and data traceability;
  • Familiarity with executing Standard Operating Procedures in a manufacturing or assembling environment preferred;
  • Working knowledge of Good Documentation and Good Manufacturing Practices preferred;
  • Must be able to work in a controlled or clean room environment requiring special gowning; ----
  • Must have the ability to work safely and conscientiously in a manufacturing environment;
  • Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds;Why you should join Catalent:
